A group of Stotfold girls have been taking the twirling world by storm this year!
The long-running Stotfold Twirlers have been over-achieving again in 2017.
The popular club has taken part in regional and area competitions as well as excelling in grade exams over the last two months.
Sonia Crook who runs the club told the Comet: “We gained fantastic results in both competitions as well as the grade exams.
“All girls who entered the area competition gained a top 10 placing in their events – and we have five girls through to national finals at Easter.
“The girls have worked extremely hard to get these results and we are very proud of them.”
The girls going to Nationals are Victoria Salisbury, 17, Mila Crook, 16, Amber Maving, 14, Katie Strutt, 11 and Grace Endersby, 10.
Victoria. Mila and Amber are also set to compete in England Selections on Easter Monday to gain places at the forthcoming European Championships in Italy and the International Cup in Croatia later this year.
