A GROUP of girls have come back home after being crowned the third best twirlers in a regional competition.
The Stotfold Twirlers took part in a regional club competition in Leicestershire where they competed in strut, duo, trio, freestyle and pom pom sections of the heats.
The girls, who have also just celebrated the club’s 18th birthday, practice at the St Mary’s Academy in Stotfold on Friday evenings from 6.30pm to 8pm.
Currently the club has 12 members ranging from the age of six to 15 years.
