Stotfold is set for two weeks of roadworks after resurfacing started yesterday.

There will be signed diversion routes for cars and buses while resurfacing work takes place on Arlesey Road between 8am and 6pm every day, excluding Sundays and bank holidays.

This follows the completion of improvements to the footpath at the junction of Vaughan Road and Arlesey Road on Friday. The work is part of four months of Central Bedfordshire Council measures to improve roads around Stotfold town centre which started on July 7.

Residents living off Arlesey Road have been asked to speak to the team about access as there may be a delay in waiting for the new road surface to cool down.
