The public meeting held on February 7 was well attended by about 60 people. John Saunders, chairman, opened the meeting and reflected on the fateful night in December 1992 when the Mill was burnt to the ground and the amazing progress that has been made.

John Saunders, chairman, opened the meeting and reflected on the fateful night in December 1992 when the Mill was burnt to the ground and the amazing progress that has been made. He thanked Brian Collier for his work over the years as treasurer, Brian relinquished his position at the AGM but remains a trustee. John also thanked Robin Tasker for his dedication and guidance over the years and for his work as secretary, he has also stood down but remains a trustee and was elected as Honorary Life President as a mark of recognition of his work. The new committee are Paul Redwood - secretary, Chris Foskett - treasurer, John Street, Christine Smith and Kevin Balderstone. Mike Thomas was thanked for his work on Teasel and as his role as a trustee of the Mill. Currently there are sufficient funds to enable the team to complete the next phase. Christine Smith spoke about the Mill Weekend on May 6 and 7 when there will be many attractions and the opportunity to see the work that has been done. The meeting ended with an open forum and refreshments.
