A supermarket is devoting space to reflecting the best of Biggleswade.

The ASDA store in Church Street in the town will be broadcasting to customers great local products along with local groups and organisations.

ASDA says it is all part of supporting the local community with the store's events organiser Zoe Homfray-Cooper saying: "This is our local celebration event and we will be highlighting many local things, not just products but organisations as well.

Groups supporting the event are the Biggleswade History Society, the town twinning association, Bed-ford Victim Support, Churches in Action, Rainbow Toddlers and many other organisations that make up the town's vibrant society.

The event starts today, Thursday (August 17) and will run until Saturday when there will be local baby and toddler groups and children making crafts.
