Drugs stolen from Lister Hospital pose a ‘serious’ risk to health, police have warned.
Officers investigating the theft of drugs from a ward last week urged anyone who has the drugs or finds them to hand them in. The Adrenaline, Atropine Amiodarone, Calcium Chloride and Sodium Bicarbonate were taken some time between midnight on Tuesday and midnight Wednesday.
Andrew Ratliff from the Crime Service Team said: “If these drugs are taken or administered to a healthy person they could pose serious health risks.
“I would urge anyone who knows who may be in possession of these items, or anyone who may come across them, to contact police immediately via the non-emergency number, 101.”
