People who want to sign up for Sunday’s Stevenage Race for Life still have until midnight tonight to do so.
1,600 people have already signed up for the town’s tenth annual race which has five km and ten km routes and will get underway at Fairlands Valley Park at 11am.
Event manager Courtney Culverhouse, said: “We’re absolutely thrilled that so many women have already entered, but we still have places left so we’re urging anyone who has been thinking about it to commit and take action today.”
It is hoped the women only event will raise £105,000 to help Cancer Research UK’s doctors, nurses and scientists advance research into the disease.
