A WOMAN has been interviewed under caution after a video appeared on YouTube showing a foul-mouthed racist rant on a train.
The 38-year-old from Stevenage voluntarily attended the town police station on December 1 after the video was brought to officers’ attention in the wake of a similar incident that went viral on the internet.
British Transport Police which interviewed the woman said she was reported for racially aggravated disorderly behaviour.
A spokesman said: “The incident was originally reported to police as having taken place on a train between London and Manchester but officers now believe it occurred between Stevenage and Peterborough around two years ago.”
A file is being prepared by officers for the Crown Prosecution Service.
