Boro hope to get one over local rivals in FA Cup First Round
Stevenage v MK Dons – preview
November 6, 3pm
Lamex Stadium
FA Cup First Round
Season so far
SITTING just shy of the League 2 play-off places in eighth position, Stevenage have hit a good run of form recently and have lost just one of their past nine games.
The 3-0 win at Barnet at Tuesday evening – with John Mousinho bagging two and Mark Roberts also getting on the scoresheet – was Boro’s third clean sheet in a row.
MK Dons sit mid-table in League 1 courtesy of their unbeaten home record so far this season, but on their travels they have not won since the first match of the 2010-11 campaign and have the second worst goals against column in the league.
Team news
Boro do not have any new injury worries, while the injured Joel Byrom and Chris Beardsley are several weeks away from match fitness.
Ben May, who started at Barnet in midweek, could keep his place up front as he works his way back to full fitness.
MK Dons will be without defender Gary MacKenzie (suspension) while Jabo Ibehre (knee) is also out. David Martin and Danny Woodards should return.
