(University of the Third Age) welcomes people of 50+ to our regular meetings on Thursdays from 2 to 4pm for a programme of talks and activities. We meet at the Friends Meeting House and the United Reformed Church, Cuttys Lane. We also have a range of Study/Interest Groups which meet on other days and times. The Mayor's Charity Concert: At 7pm on Tuesday, sponsored by MBDA, features The Barclay School Band, The Footworks School of Dance, One Step Beyond Cheerleaders, Camps Hill School Choir, Molly Vickers and Claire Brooks Dancing School, Street Dance Productions, North Herts Sax Quartet, Limelight Stage School, Soloist John Eames, Aston School Choir and the Filipino Community in Herts UK The Mayor, Councillor Brian Underwood would be delighted to welcome you to come along and enjoy this event, the profits go to the Mayor's chosen charities Age Concern Stevenage, Drugsline, REACT, Stevenage Community Trust and the Stevenage Council for Voluntary Service.Tickets £10 each Gordon Craig Theatre, for tickets please contact the Box Office on 08700 131 030 For details please contact the Mayor's Office on 01438 242227.
