Hornets set for visit to the Lamex Stadium on July 20.
Stevenage are to host Watford in a pre-season friendly.
Boro will welcome Gianfranco Zola’s men to the Lamex Stadium on Saturday, July 20 instead of travelling to Chelmsford on that date.
Watford beat Boro 2-0 in a friendly in 2010, and a Hornets XI won 4-3 against Stevenage in a behind-closed-doors friendly in December last year.
