A TEENAGER was stabbed in the face after a brawl outside a Hertfordshire hall.

The 17-year-old boy from Stevenage was taken to QE2 Hospital after what police have described as a “sharp implement” was used to cut his face in a fight outside Haldens Residents Association, in Margery Wood, Welwyn Garden City, during the early hours of Sunday.

The victim suffered minor injuries, according to an ambulance spokesman.

One resident in the road said: “I heard one person screaming hysterically. He was saying ‘I’ll kill him, I’ll kill him’. I didn’t see what happened, but it seemed quite serious, there were lots of police cars and officers around, as well as the dogs and a helicopter.”
