A 15-year-old boy has appeared in court charged with setting fire to a property - killing two dogs as a result.
The Stevenage boy, who cannot be identified for legal reasons, has been charged with destroying by fire a premises in Longfields in Stevenage on November 20 last year.
The charge includes destroying property within the premises, including two Staffordshire bull terriers.
The teenager attended Stevenage Magistrates’ Court for a preliminary hearing last Thursday, March 27, but is yet to enter a plea.
He has been remanded on bail until May 1, when he is due to appear before magistrates again.
