A TEENAGER has appeared in court charged with attempted rape.
Charlie Roper attended Stevenage Magistrates’ Court on Friday after being accused of attempting to rape a woman on January 16 in Normans Lane, Royston.
The 19-year-old, of Admiral Drive in Stevenage, was given conditional bail and will now appear at Cambridge Crown Court for a plea and case management hearing tomorrow (Friday).
