A TEENAGER from Stevenage has been charged with a public order offence following an incident outside the town centre’s McDonalds.
The 16-year-old was arrested outside the fast food outlet in Town Square on Wednesday afternoon after allegedly using threatening, abusive or insulting words when speaking with a PCSO.
The youth, who cannot be named for legal reasons, has been released on bail and is due to appear at North Herts Youth Court on Thursday, June 2.
Another 16-year-old male from Stevenage was reprimanded by police after stealing a link radio during the incident.
