A 21-year-old with lightning fast hand speed has broken his own world record for the time taken to build a 171-cup pyramid.
James Acraman, who lives in Stevenage, was invited by Guinness World Records to attempt to beat his record of one minute 26.9 seconds, which he set back in January.
Sport stacking involves stacking pastic cups in specific sequences in as little time as possible, and last Thursday James stacked a 171-cup pyramid in 59.10 seconds - balancing close to three cups per second and smashing his previous record.
The former John Henry Newman School pupil said: “It was the best feeling in the world to break that one-minute barrier, and a great way to celebrate my 21st birthday.”
James was watched by UK inventor Richard Browning, who has been dubbed the ‘real-life Iron Man’ and has set a Guinness World Record by travelling at 32mph in a jet suit.
