Stevenage FC have completed the signing of Kyle Wootton from Sky Bet League One side Scunthorpe United on loan until January.
The 20-year-old striker could make his debut for Boro at former club Cheltenham Town on Saturday – where he scored twice in 16 Sky Bet League Two appearances last term.
Wooton has also previously had loan spells with Lincoln City and North Ferriby United as well as 34 appearances across three years for his parent club Scunthorpe, finding the back of the net on five occasions.
At 6ft 2in the promising forward provides an alternative attacking option for Darren Sarll’s side.
