Boro have signed Cameron Lancaster after the forward was released by Premier League side Spurs in the summer

The 21-year-old has been on trial at the club, and scored in a pre-season friendly in the summer.

The striker made one senior appearance for Spurs as a substitute against Wigan Athletic in January 2012, but also made four substitute appearances for Dagenham and Redbridge during a loan spell.

Lancaster made his debut in today’s 3-2 victory at AFC Wimbledon, scoring Boro’s second of the game.
