Former Coventry striker Eastwood likely to sign for Southend United, according to reports
Stevenage are set to miss out on the signature of Freddy Eastwood.
Boro boss Gary Smith last week told the Comet that the former Coventry City striker was ‘on the list’ but that he had not spoken to the free agent, who was also interesting Southend United.
However, reports coming out of Southend now suggest that the striker is about to sign a permanent deal with the Essex club where he had a loan spell last season.
