Stevenage road reopened after concerns for woman’s welfare

Concerns for a woman’s welfare have led to a road being closed this afternoon (Thursday).

Police and ambulance services were called to St George’s Way, in Stevenage at 2.48pm following reports of concerns for a woman’s welfare.

The road has been temporarily closed in both directions while police attend the scene.

The road was reopened at approximately 4.15pm.
