Boro through to round two - first round draw takes place this weekend
Stevenage have been awarded a bye in the first round draw of the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy.
Boro are one of four sides in the South Section (East) who go straight through to the second round. The others are Crawley Town, Southend United and Gillingham.
The teams in Saturday’s draw, in the South Section (East), are Cambridge United, Colchester United, Dagenham and Redbridge, Leyton Orient, Luton Town, Millwall, Northampton Town and Peterborough United.
Boro were knocked out of last year’s competition at the first hurdle, losing 1-0 to Gillingham.
