Club say midfielder wants to leave after being left out of matchday squad against MK Dons last week

Stevenage have placed Robin Shroot on the transfer list.

The club released a statement yesterday (Sunday) saying that the midfielder had asked for a move after being left out of the squad in the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy win over MK Dons on Tuesday evening.

The 25-year-old, who has started seven matches for the club in all competitions this season, is now available for loan with a view to a permanent deal in January.

A club spokesman said, “This is the second time Robin has requested a move in 12 months. We don’t want anyone in the squad who doesn’t want to be here, so this time we’ve agreed to put him on the list and if our terms are met he can move on.”
