Police in Stevenage are appealing to local residents to lock their cars when they leave them unattended.
Since the beginning of October more than 60 vehicles have been targeted by thieves and most of them were left insecure. Items taken include mobile phones, satnavs, debit cards, designer sunglasses and clothes, watches, iPods and cash.
