Some people would think being given a month’s worth a pies is more of a punishment than a prize.
But football mad Lisa Miller clearly isn’t one of them, in fact you might call the administrator from Stevenage a pie-oneer.
Pukka Pies recognised the avid Arsenal fan’s love of crust and a hot filling and decided to reward her with a month’s worth of vouchers for their pies.
Lisa, who lives with her boyfriend and fellow pie-lover Mark, said: “I love pies. Steak and kidney is my favourite but I’m not fussy. I also love going to the football and the two seem to go hand in hand.
“I used to support Watford but my boyfriend converted me to Arsenal about 15 years ago and now we go whenever we can. I’m planing on using all the vouchers but last time I went to the shops they didn’t have any in left. It seems I’m not the only pie-oneer in Stevenage.”
