A community nurse from Stevenage will be seen by millions of Londoners every day as the face of a new NHS recruitment drive – and may feature in countless selfies.

Charlotte Reynolds, who lives in Great Ashby, appears on the Hertfordshire Community NHS Trust campaign posters at tube stations across the capital including Bank, Bond Street and Waterloo.

The adverts in London will stay up until early February. The trust is asking people to selfies with them and upload them to the @CareersHCT Twitter page. The selfie judged the best will win a £30 retail voucher.

Katie Blackburn, the trust’s press and social media officer, said: “It was put out to staff to volunteer, and Charlotte was among those who came forward and had their photos taken.

“We thought she had all the right criteria and matched the design and look of the poster.”

Charlotte also appears on the back of buses across Herts alongside two colleagues.

Other recruitment initiatives by the trust over the past year have included an overseas recruitment campaign, attendance at career and job fairs in the UK, and open days for prospective candidates.
