A MAN who died after being involved in a five-car pile-up on the A1(M) on Tuesday last week has been named by police.
Tony Radford, 42, of Tamar Close in Stevenage, died of serious head injures on Wednesday at the Royal London Hospital after he was airlifted there following the morning rush hour smash.
The crash happened on the southbound carriageway, between junctions 5 and 4.
No one else was hurt in the collision.
