A 26-year-old man from Stevenage has been acquitted of seven charges of raping two under-age girls.

Nathan Baker, now of Woburn Avenue in Wolverton, Milton Keynes, was acquitted of the charges by a jury after a three-day trial at Cambridge Crown Court.

Mr Baker was accused of having invited the girls into a room before asking them to take their clothes off and have sex with him.

He had previously pleaded not guilty to six charges of having had vaginal sex and one charge of anal sex against the two girls, aged between 10 and 13, between 2004 and 2007 – when he was himself a teenager.
