A Stevenage man has been charged with GBH following an assault at a pub on Friday night.
Bryan Precious, of Wisden Road, was arrested after allegedly punching another man in the car park of the pub in Broadwater Crescent, following an argument that happened inside at around 9.50pm.
He left the scene, but was quickly located by police.
The victim, a 45-year-old man also from Stevenage, remains in hospital with head injuries.
Precious was charged with GBH and appeared at Hatfield Remand Court this morning. He has been released on bail and is due to appear at St Albans Crown Court on April 27.
