A 30-year-old Stevenage man has been charged with GBH after a 65-year-old man was seriously assaulted in Knebworth.
The incident is alleged to have happened in Gun Lane at about 11.15pm on Saturday, November 25, while the 65-year-old was waiting in his parked car.
He sustained injuries to his eyes, head and face.
Christopher Jeffrey, of Tye End in Stevenage, was arrested shortly afterwards. He has since been charged with GBH, and was remanded in custody after appearing at Hatfield Remand Court on November 27.
He is next set to appear at St Albans Crown Court on January 5.
