A 48-year-old Stevenage man has been released on bail following a three vehicle crash on Friday lunchtime.
The man was arrested for failing to provide a sample. He has been bailed until April 7.
A woman suffered head injuries in the crash and remains in a serious condition in a London hospital.
Police are still appealing for witnesses to the incident. Anyone with information should contact Pc Ian Breacher from the Road Crash Investigation Unit at Police Headquarters via the non-emergency number 0845 3300 222.
