Stevenage have announced Nottingham Forest striker Tyler Walker has been recalled to the Championship club with immediate effect.
The 20-year-old made nine appearances for Darren Sarll’s men, scoring four goals, including a stunning debut double in Boro’s 6-1 home success against Hartlepool United in September.
Walker’s time at Lamex Stadium was blighted by injury as he made only four appearances from the start of October until his return to the City Ground.
On his exit, Walker tweeted: “Thank you to everyone @StevenageFC for the opportunity they gave me! I really enjoyed my time there and wish the club all the best”.
Meanwhile Scunthorpe United defender Jack King’s temporary spell at Boro has expired with talks ongoing about a possible renewal.
The former Preston North End man had a successful spell at Stevenage, appearing 23 times for the club this season and scoring once – in a 2-1 win over Crawley Town in September.
