Dipo Akinyemi marked his first league start for St Albans City with a debut goal.
Akinyemi, along with Ryan Johnson, joined the Saints from Stevenage on loan last week for a six-month spell and both started Saturday’s National League South match at home to Concord Rangers at Clarence Park.
Akinyemi put Ian Allinson’s men in front before Junior Morias made sure of the points as the Saints began their season with a victory.
