Stevenage will be firmly in the frame for a daytime TV programme on Monday.

The Housing Enforcers is back for a second series at 9am on BBC1 – and in the show Matt Allwright joins Stevenage Borough Council as trainee housing officer working to help tenants with their various problems.

His work ranges from helping those in temporary accommodation move into council properties to meeting residents in the council’s customer service centre.

The council’s strategic director Matt Partridge said: “Our teams have enjoyed showing Matt the ropes when it comes to helping people in the town.”
