Winger Chris Whelpdale back in training, but game comes too early for Ronnie Henry
Chris Whelpdale returned to training this week for Stevenage.
The winger has been out of action since the League Two play-off defeat to Southend United at the tail end of last season due to a groin injury.
Ronnie Henry is also back in training after being missing from action over the last fortnight with mumps. He is expected to be back in time for the trip to Dagenham & Redbridge next weekend.
Dave McAllister, Adam Marriott and new signing Jamie McCombe miss out on today’s game with Hartlepool United, while Ben Kennedy is a long-term absentee and will not be back in action for a few months.
