Boro face a trip to Rovers in third round on January 4

Stevenage have been drawn away to Doncaster Rovers in the third round of the FA Cup.

Boro booked their place in the hat for the draw with a 4-0 win in the second round against Stourbridge on Saturday courtesy of goals from Francois Zoko, Lucas Akins, Luke Freeman and a Filipe Morais penalty.

The match at Championship side Doncaster, which will take place on the first weekend in January, will be Boro’s first away trip in this season’s competition following home wins against Portsmouth in the first round and then Stourbridge at the weekend.
