Stevenage FC Foundation and Sporting Futures Training have teamed up to offer apprenticeships for youngsters.
Young people will get to work for the Foundation, complete sports-themed qualifications and help the charity achieve objectives in the community.
And Joe Goude, head of the foundation, said: “We’re delighted to be working with a local training provider with such a great track record in developing young people in a sport and education environment.
“The Foundation is looking to create a viable pathway for young people to continue their education in an exciting environment.”
Jill Eaton, director of Stevenage-based Sporting Futures Training, added: “As a successful local training provider, we are pleased to be working in partnership with Stevenage FC Foundation to deliver their apprenticeship training.
“We hope this is the start of a successful local partnership.”
