Ben Kennedy has been named as one of 10 ‘young footballers to watch out for in 2016’.

The Stevenage forward was named alongside the likes of Kingsley Coman, who is currently on loan at Bayern Munich from Juventus, and Chelsea’s Brazilian ace Kenedy in an article in the Guardian this weekend.

Kennedy is currently out of action with a knee injury.

He made his Boro debut in January last year with an appearance against Oxford United before, two games later, he scored a brace of goals away at Hartlepool United.

He is the current captain of the Northern Ireland U19 team, and has been on the radar of Premier League sides such as Arsenal and Spurs since he broke into the Stevenage team.
