A Stevenage garage worker was allegedly racially abused by a customer who also spat at him – and police have released CCTV images of a man they want to speak to as part of their investigation.

The incident is described as happening at Esso in Broadwater Crescent at about 8.15pm on Thursday last week.

Officers believe the man pictured was in the store at the time and may have information that could help the investigation.
