Lopez and Ball both scored at the weekend to help their respective loan teams, Barnet and Boreham Wood, through in the cup
Stevenage players Dani Lopez and Matt Ball will both be in FA Cup action against League 1 opposition - but for different sides.
While their parent club were drawn to host Portsmouth in the first round proper on the weekend of November 9 and 10 the two loanees are both at clubs that have also made it through to this stage of the competition.
Ball, who is on loan at Conference South side Boreham Wood until January 14, scored his side’s only goal in the fourth qualifying round match against Heybridge Swifts on Saturday. They will host Carlisle United in the first round.
Lopez was also on target at the weekend - the Spanish striker netted twice as Barnet of the Conference overcame Concord Rangers to book an away day at Preston North End.
