A 19-year-old was arrested in Stevenage this morning after officers discovered more than 100 wraps of suspected class A drugs, a folding knife and a quantity of cash while searching the teenager.

Officers from the Operation Scorpion team received information about a man acting suspiciously outside Monument Court today,

They attended the scene, where the teenager – who is from Watford – was searched.

He was arrested on suspicion of possession of class A drugs with intent to supply and possession of a bladed article.

He remains in custody at Stevenage Police Station.

This latest incident follows the arrests of two men in their 20s at Monument Court yesterday morning. The men were arrested on suspicion of obstructing a drugs search.
