A team of colleagues have taken on the Three Peaks Challenge and raised nearly £3,700 for charity.
Eight members of staff from Stevenage-based driver recruitment agency Driver Require took 23-and-a-half hours to climb to the top of Snowdon, Scafell Pyke and Ben Nevis – inspired after a team member suffered a personal loss last year.
Chief executive Kieran Smith said: “It was the most physically demanding challenge most of us have ever endured.
“The emotions and exhaustion of climbing the three highest peaks in the UK in 24 hours is enough, but added to that the lack of sleep and it was a true test of grit, determination, stamina and teamwork.
“So far we have raised almost £3,700 for the British Heart Foundation, Macmillan Cancer Support, Cancer Research UK and Parkinson’s UK.”
