A man was arrested following a car crash in the early hours of this morning (Wednesday).

Police were called to the scene on Broadhall Way, in Stevenage, at 12.15am when a white Vauxhall Astra van crashed after colliding with a set of metal railings.

The driver was arrested after refusing to take a breathalyser test.

No-one was injured in the incident and the vehicle was recovered by 1.25am.
