Fraser Franks has been shortlisted for the Sky Bet League Two Player of the Month award for April.
The defender’s nomination states: ‘A constant thread in the Stevenage defence this season, he has adapted to a new role at left-back with impressive ease.
“His versatility and solid tackling was evident as his team conceded just three goals in seven April games.”
The other three players who have been shortlisted are Barnet striker John Akinde, Accrington Stanley winger Tarique Fosu-Henry and AFC Wimbledon striker Lyle Taylor.
The winner of the award will be announced on Friday.
