A FAMILY fun day rained off last weekend has been rescheduled.
Stevenage Day was due to be held on Sunday at King George V Playing Field, but the borough council took the decision to cancel it, as the ground was too wet.
It was thought that that would be it for another year, but today (Tuesday), the council announced that it would be held later this summer.
The free event is now scheduled for August 26.
