Guests from China descended on CareShield’s head office in Stevenage on Monday as staff passed on best practice in the health and social care sector to the visiting delegates.
The firm – based in Primett Road – provides training to support staff, carers, nurses and GPs, and organised the six-day visit through the British Embassy in Beijing after signing a memorandum of understanding with the China Planning Institute of Ageing.
CareShield chief executive Christian Greenshaw said: “We are passionate about improving the lives of everyone receiving health and care services. And our Chinese visitors are here to see how best practice care services are delivered in the UK – and how our expert training programmes underpin improvements in the quality and excellence of care provision.”
Stevenage MP Stephen McPartland, who helped welcome the visitors, said he was proud to have such expertise in Stevenage and welcomed the collaboration to improve care.
