VOTE Gabz. That’s the message from businesses backing the Stevenage singer-songwriter who performs in the final of Britain’s Got Talent tonight (Saturday).
Six companies across the town, including the Comet, have come together to show their support for 14-year-old Gabz Gardiner, who if she wins the ITV talent contest will appear in the Royal Variety Performance and earn a £250,000 first prize.
Banners have been put up around the town promoting The Nobel School student in a publicity drive by ACE Taxis, Own Homes, Pound Avenue Garage, Wheels Motor Factors, Salt and Vinegar and ourselves.
“I love it when Stevenage residents do well and I think we should support them as much as we can,” said Ash Rehman, the managing director of both ACE Taxis and Salt and Vinegar, who came up with the idea.
“We just want to give Gabz a boost any way we can.”
