The team given the tough task of cracking down on antisocial behaviour in Stevenage have been recognised for their success.
Consultancy firm HouseMark have saluted members of the Stevenage Borough Council task force for the way they work to minimise yobbish behavious and for how they support victims, witnesses and staff.
Councillor Ann Webb, who is responsible for housing at the council, said: “Our team works hard to help ensure that people living in Stevenage are not adversely affected by anti-social behaviour and I’m pleased that they’ve received this official recognition.
“Stevenage residents can be assured that they are receiving a quality service.”
The team, which took on more than 400 new cases in the last year, had to meet a number of criteria to achieve the accolade.
