FORMULA One race ace Lewis Hamilton has split from Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger after two years together.
The racing driver from Stevenage and the singer have told national press they are putting their careers first.
A statement from their spokesman confirmed: "They have decided to go their separate ways. They want to focus fully on their careers and will remain close friends."
The pair met at the MTV Europe Awards in Munich in November 2007 and got together the following year, with Nicole watching from the sidelines as Hamilton became World Champion in November 2008.
