Customers at Stevenage nightspot Bar & Beyond are being invited to donate their spare change to children’s charity The Echo Trust.
From Sunday, August 20, to Saturday, September 2, the Stevenage Leisure Park venue is offering customers a chance to donate their spare pounds to support the charity by raising money to provide children and young adults with necessities such as medical equipment.
General manager Steven Haughton said: “Give A Kid A Quid is a simple way to raise money that will help transform the lives of young people in our community. Our customers always respond generously to appeals to help and I am sure they will once again”
The charity set up by The Deltic Group - which runs Bar & Beyond and other clubs across the UK - awards grants to local children’s charities and has raised more than £2.5 million since it was established in 2002.
