Stevenage band Waste kicked off Standon Calling this afternoon, as the three-day festival marks its 10th anniversary.
Thousands of festival-goers will be descending on the grounds of Standon Lordship, situated to the east of Stevenage and not far from Ware, over the course of the next three days as dozens of acts perform across 10 stages.
Ella Eyre and Little Dragon play the Main Stage tonight, while The Dandy Warhols, Roots Manuva and DJ Yoda are some of the stand out names from Saturday’s line-up – when the ‘day to night’ fancy dress party will be in full swing.
The festival will draw to a close on Sunday, when The Horrors perform at the Last Dance Saloon stage before Basement Jaxx round Standon off in style with a Main Stage show from 9.30pm.
Some tickets, including day passes, are still available. Visit www.standon-calling.com to book.
